Partner Programme

Partner Programme Terms

Version 2026-08-25

These terms govern participation in the WedSnap Partner Programme. By applying for or claiming a Partner account you agree to them.

1. Joining and approval

Participation is free but subject to WedSnap approval. WedSnap may approve, decline, suspend or close a Partner account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the programme or the WedSnap brand.

2. Pre-created invitations and the 30-day claim period

WedSnap may pre-create a Partner account and issue a referral link or code before the recipient has claimed the dashboard. An invited recipient has 30 days from creation of the active claim invitation to claim the account and accept these Terms.

Referral activity generated before claim is recorded only as provisional activity. It is not an earned or payable commission until the invited Partner claims the account within the claim period and accepts these Terms. If the invitation expires unclaimed, WedSnap may disable the code and remove provisional commission credit associated with that unclaimed invitation.

3. Referral links, codes and attribution

Each approved Partner receives a unique referral code and referral URL. A valid referral link may set a signed first-party WedSnap attribution cookie for up to seven days so the requested Partner offer can still be recognised if the customer leaves and returns.

During an active seven-day attribution period WedSnap normally uses the first valid Partner attribution recorded for that customer. A customer may also establish Partner attribution by entering a valid Partner code manually at checkout.

WedSnap's server-side checkout and payment records are the authoritative record for attribution, discount and commission calculations, subject to correction of manifest errors.

4. Customer discounts

The default Partner customer saving is 10%, but WedSnap may set different terms for an individual Partner. Partner discounts cannot be stacked with other WedSnap discounts. If more than one valid customer offer is available, WedSnap may apply the most beneficial eligible customer discount while retaining genuine Partner attribution separately.

5. Commission

The default commission is £5 for each eligible completed WedSnap purchase attributed to the Partner, unless different terms are shown in the Partner dashboard or agreed in writing. Commission is calculated from WedSnap's verified payment record and is created only once for each eligible purchase.

Commission may remain pending during a reasonable hold period to allow for payment failures, refunds, reversals, disputes, fraud checks or other invalidating events. Refunded, reversed, fraudulent, self-referred or otherwise ineligible transactions do not earn commission. If commission has already been paid on a later-invalidated transaction, WedSnap may apply a corresponding negative adjustment against future Partner payments.

6. Payouts

PayPal is WedSnap's preferred payout method. UK bank transfer may be offered as an alternative. Partners are responsible for keeping accurate payout details in their dashboard. WedSnap is not responsible for delay caused by missing or incorrect payout information supplied by the Partner.

Eligible commission is paid in monthly payout cycles. The Partner dashboard and WedSnap's payout records identify which conversions have been included in each payment.

7. Partner responsibilities

Partners must promote WedSnap accurately and lawfully. Partners must not make misleading claims, impersonate WedSnap, create unauthorised discounts, send unlawful unsolicited marketing, use deceptive redirects, interfere with tracking, generate artificial referrals, make self-referrals, or use the programme in a way that could damage WedSnap or its customers.

Partners are responsible for complying with applicable advertising, privacy, electronic marketing and tax obligations relevant to their own activities.

8. Brand and marketing material

WedSnap may provide approved links, QR codes, posters, wording and other Partner materials. These remain WedSnap materials and may be used only to promote WedSnap through the Partner Programme. They must not be materially altered in a misleading way.

9. No employment or agency

The Partner is an independent participant in a referral programme. Nothing in these Terms creates employment, agency, franchise, partnership, joint venture or authority to bind WedSnap.

10. Suspension and termination

Either party may stop participating. WedSnap may immediately suspend referral activity where fraud, abuse, security risk, unlawful marketing, misleading promotion or material breach is reasonably suspected. Valid approved commission earned before termination remains subject to the normal payout, refund and adjustment rules.

11. Changes to programme terms

WedSnap may update programme rates, features or these Terms. Material changes affecting existing Partners will be communicated through the Partner dashboard or email. Continued participation after an updated version takes effect may require acceptance of the new version.

12. Records, liability and availability

WedSnap will take reasonable care in operating referral tracking and payout records but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of websites, referral links or third-party payment services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Privacy

Partner account and payout information is handled in accordance with WedSnap's privacy information. Partners do not receive personal information about referred couples merely because a referral or conversion has occurred.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
